About - Kayla Hayden

Hi, I am Kayla.

I’m a wife, mom, and photographer.

I help families document their lives so in 20 years they can show their kids what awesome parents they were!

I also stop time and bottle it up into gorgeous photographs. I’m pretty cool like that.

Over the years I’ve photographed so many amazing families and couples, helping them capture memories they can treasure forever. Long after we’re gone, our kids are going to have these images to remember, laugh, cry and love.

I know how important having photographs of loved ones truly is and I want everyone to have beautiful images. When I discovered that photography was something I could do for others, I was hooked.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the middle of some kind of project at our cabin, sewing clothes for my 3 kids late into the night, trying to keep my plants alive (it’s not going well) or out on an “adventure” with my family.

Kayla is so easy to work with, so flexible, so friendly, and so comfortable with her equipment. It took about one minute before I absolutely knew I was in great hands. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is so skilled with her tools. I did a dog photo shoot with 3 wild German shepherds, and even though it was absolutely chaotic on their end, she blew it out of the water and captured so many amazing shots. She was able to capture things I didn’t even see, and I’m the handler!
